A Sunday with Miss Roider
I've realized over the years that my favorite Sundays aren't the ones where I have exciting plans.
They're the ones where I don't feel rushed.
The kind of mornings where I can sleep in, make a hot cup of tea, stretch for a while, and ease into the day instead of jumping straight into emails and notifications.
I like taking a few minutes to write down what I'm grateful for before planning out my week. It helps me feel grounded before everything gets busy again.
Breakfast is always something simple. Lately it's been a protein yogurt bowl with my homemade Pure Pantry granola, followed by a long walk.
If it's Sunday, there's a good chance I'll end up at the golf course. Sometimes with friends, sometimes by myself. I've learned to enjoy both.
Golf has become one of those places where life feels a little quieter. It's one of the few things that gets me completely out of my head and into the moment.
The rest of the day is whatever I'm in the mood for. Maybe a smoothie after golf, maybe a walk through Newport Coast, maybe an afternoon by the beach, or maybe I stay home and cook something comforting.
By evening, I'm in my Asteroidolf lounge set with a book in one hand and Gossip Girl playing in the background.
It's not the most exciting way to spend a Sunday.
But it feels like me.
And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
